Dear Shaarey Tphiloh Community,

We need your help!

Every Saturday morning we say a prayer for Refuah Shleimah for members of our congregation and their loved ones who are in need of healing. We would like to include the names of all those in our community who would benefit from our thoughts and prayers so we encourage you to communicate with us. Please, let us know if there is anyone whose name you would like included in our service and announcements and keep us updated through their recovery.

Shabbat Shalom,
Daniel Heinrich
Administrative Assistant

Sponsor a Kiddush!

Temple Beth El and Congregation Shaarey Tphiloh are partnering to offer Kiddush refreshments on Shabbat and holidays. Sharing a Friday night or Shabbat service and Kiddush is a wonderful opportunity to support our congregations, build community, share in the simcha of a birthday, anniversary or graduation, and offer comfort to those observing a yahrzeit.

The Megillah’s Hidden Meanings with Rabbi David Freidenreich
Sundays, March 5 & 12
10:00 – 11:30
Shaarey Tphiloh Sanctuary
Temple Beth El School Wing – Room 4a
The Book of Esther famously lacks any reference to God, but countless readers have found God’s hidden hand in its story nonetheless. This is just one example of the many layers of meaning within the seemingly simple tale we read every year. Join us to explore hidden facets of the Megillah and the holiday of Purim.

You are welcome to come early and enjoy coffee and bagels in the foyer.

NextDor is a JCA program for community members in their 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s, offering opportunities for peer-led social, cultural and educational engagement guided by Jewish values. NextDor programs are open and welcoming to Jewish and non-Jewish households.

Please take the 5 minute survey to let us know what programs you’d like to be part of in the coming year. If you now fall outside the NextDor age group, we still want your feedback!
