Order your Lulav & Etrog set for Sukkot, to fulfill the special holiday mitzvah of the daily blessing and waving of the Lulav and Etrog during Sukkot. Together, led by Rabbi Shub, we will learn traditional (Ashkenazic) trope for all public Biblical readings of the Jewish year. Tphiloh: Law and Spirit of Prayer Sundays 11-12 at Shaarey Tphiloh This class, led by Rabbi Shub, is for new, experienced, and non-daveners alike. We will explore the halachah (Jewish law) that gives tefilah its shape by reading texts such as Talmud, Shulchan Aruch, Mishnei Torah, and others. We will also examine non-legal texts such as Midrash and Hassidic works that may aid us in finding meaning in the traditional liturgy.
