Beginning on December 28, 2008, the mikveh is closed for repairs. Please contact the shul office for further information.
We recently formed a committee to oversee the reorganization of the mikveh into a separate legal entity that would be governed by a board of directors representing the entire Jewish community of southern Maine.
One of the long-term goals of our committee is to create a more beautiful space for performing this ritual and to educate the Jewish community about the traditional and non-traditional ways that the mikveh can be used to mark the transitions in our lives.
